Hadrian wanted a wall to keep those crazy Scots out of England. It didn't work. Chinese emperors have been building walls for almost all recorded history. They didn't work. But they do make pretty good tourist attractions, if they are photogenic.
Well once you get to 60,000 you can trade them in at the prize counter for a 12in. TV or a skateboard. With just a 1000 though you pretty much have to pick from whoopi cushions, super balls, Chinese finger traps, and plastic spider rings.
