What does the laundry mat charge for a load where you live?

  • Laundromats charge depending on the size of the washer and length of drying time.  Regular washers are normally about $1.25 .. dryers maybe $1.00 for 30 mins.

    Well I got ripped off!  You read my 'tag' i presume .

    I don't know why the 'tag' isn't in place below the Q where it is more noticeable.

    well, haha, my laundromat is in he basement of the house i live in.

    $1.00 to dry a full load

    Last time I went to a Laundry mat...(a few years ago) it was $1.25  to wash and a quarter for 5 mins (about $1.50 to dry the load)

    The single load washers cost $2.25 and the dryers are $0.25 per 7 1/2 minutes.  The little boxes of detergent bleach and dryer sheets are $1.00.
