"Don't start anything with me boy. Better be careful how you talk to white people". How insulting is it to him to call a black man "boy"?

Is "Whitey" comparably insulting to a white man? If not, what is?

    uh, yes, very insulting...

    which brings to mind something kinda unrelated, but not really.

    you older folks will remember this; "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" by Glenn Miller......

    welllll

    the opening line is......"Pardon me boy, is that the Chattanooga Choo Choo?"........

    but back in those days, no one ever thought anything about it.

    also on a fairly unrelated, but related note, the SEXIST song.'Sleepy Time Gal".......

    BIG hit in the 1950's.

    part of the lyric goes like this:

    "........sleepy time gal
    you're turning night into day.
    .......then later,.

    :you'll learn to cook and to sew
    what's more you'll love it I know;
    you're just a play at home
    lay at home
    stay at home
     sleepy time gal;..........

    !!!!!!!!!!!!  and people loved that song!!

    AND I MUST ADD ONE MORE THEN I;LL STOP.

    ABOUT THIS SAME TIME, A HUGE HIT WAS THE 'TOO FAT POLKA'.

    ....Oh, I don't want her, you can have her,
    she's too fat for me,
    oh, she's too fat for me,
    oh, she's too fat for me;
    oh I don't want her, you can have her,
    she's too fat for me;
    she's too fat,
     she's too fat,
    she's too fat for me;......

    again...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    and now I shall end my trip down memory lane.

    ANY OTHER OLDER PEOPLE REMEMBER THESE SONGS; THEY WERE FROM THE 1950'S!!!
