Hold the baby?

If someone has a baby do you insist on holding the baby? I like to be offered first, but doggone it, I want to hold the baby!

I would like to hold the baby, but I'd be afraid of dropping it so I'd rather not.

Baby's not going to jump out, and if they're properly wrapped (cocooned) they can hardly move. Hold the baby!

Depends how soon they were fed.   Regurgitated baby formula is the most vile substance known to man.  Good lord  it stinks.

That just means baby loves you. Wait 'til they get older and puke on you. Hold the baby!

Not my thing. I loved holding my kids when they were babies; I'm not into holding other folks' broods. Newborn babies' skin smells great, by the way.

Aw, that's cute. They're not "broods" they're a freakin' baby. Just think of the impact via the simple act of holding that baby could be for the future of grammar for all of society. Hold the baby!

I love holding babies. And I'm even capable of doing it now, without wanting another one myself any more.

I stopped wanting more babies once I became a grandma...lol  I figured I'd let my children have them and just enjoy them afterward.

My grandkids are getting older now.  Only one has a child.  Once my other 8 grandkids are older I'm sure they'll be bringing the babies to me and their grandpa to hold. lol

I prefer to not hold babies. Especially if they are not blood. It's a guy thing.

I'm very careful not to cross any boundaries with holding babies who are not my grandkids. I rarely let anybody but family and those I think of as family hold my own babies.  The ONLY babies I will hold without asking would be my grandbabies.

I hate holding the "baby" when ever I go friends or family member's house who have a new baby they always hand me the baby. They squirm to much and I can't reach my wine when they're in my lap. I think they're cute .... But from a distance. People shouldn't just assume cos I'm female I wanna hold the freakin' baby. I don't.
