How do I upload a .gif on aM?

  • You can't .  You need to upload them to a GIF site like giphy or gifsoup and then use the embed code or embed the link with HTML.

    Pausing while I go and try it out...

    This is a pic of Lena Yada I dug out for the Yada Yada Yada question a while ago. Keep your fingers crossed. If it doesn't work I'll have a look at Giphy.

  • Hmm, that's not so good. It's Giphy for me, then. 
    (I have a hole in the retina of my good eye just at present and am having trouble reading these small fonts. I don't think I stuffed the HTML though.)

  • I don't even do all that work. I just find the gif and right click on it and then copy image address and paste in the insert image area and OK and it's set to go ! Just paste it in the Source line and there it is. Super easy here and you can edit the size if it's too big also.

    I found the gif I wanted through google images, clicked "view image," then copied and pasted the link here in the source bar that comes up when you hit "insert image" above.

  • I tried that and did no good at all. I also tried using HTML code and bummed out. I've now joined Giphy and will give that a try. 

    But first, let's tr te one I was trying to paste this morning on the Yada Yada Yada question:
