    No, but I would guess that it involves putting something larger than the piece of furniture under it to move it more easily.

  • Very close.

    You put two long boards under each end and then use something as a large lever at the back end  to walk it along the length on the boards. 
    I moved an 8x12 wooden deck across  the yard with one other person helping

  • I haven't heard it called that but I once watched two guys moving a huge safe on a couple of slender steel rods. It just rolled along as though it had wheels. Clever trick. (I guess that's the same sort of thing.)
