Is there a way to cut down on the number of emails I get from AnswerMug?

Hi ! I just signed up. I already have received over a dozen emails in less than an hour. Is there anyway to select which type of activity generates an email?

    when you answer a question
    uncheck the box at bottom
    also go into notifications and uncheck everything

    I found the box at the bottom of my question.

    I can't find a place to uncheck everything.

  • Uncheck that little box beneath the answerbox. That helped me cut down on emails. :)

    Angela!!!  Hi!  ????  I still can't find a place to uncheck them all.  I have limited internet data and don't want to waste it on the silly emails.

  • Go to your profile page, select settings, there will be a drop down arrow in the right hand corner, go to notifications and un- check

  • Wonderful to have you aboard, Happy. There's gotta be an easy way to stop those emails (I only get them for friend requests) but I can't find the setting. (It should be under the Settings menu on the black bar at the top of each page but I can't find it.) Sorry.

    I found it under settings in my profile.  I haven't been back to mail yet to see if it worked, but I unchecked all the boxes.

    just unclick the part that says send me notifications when other member reply to this discussion, its usually under the part where you answer a question
