  • I ran across this a few years ago and now I always peel from the bottom. :) It works every time.

Did I see this from you on another site (AB)?  I'm changing my peeling habit for bananas, I'll do it right. This post was edited by Beans/SilentGeneration at January 16, 2017 12:46 PM MST

I am and if I ate more than one banana a day, I might change it up.

  • I don't eat them very often, but I use this method when I do.

  • He dissed cupcakes!! BOO! I watch a lot of the life hacks videos and I've used some of them. Some don't work, some don't. The banana does peel a lot easier from the bottom though.

  • :) I like bananas but they sometimes give me indigestion.  I really really have to want one before I eat it.

  • It's just easier. Sometimes I can't get the stem end to cooperate. It just won't open.

  • I remember being told that peeling from the bottom was better and that's what I do now :)

Peel? Why would I do that?

I do seem to remember that in old print cartoons that when someone stepped on a banana peel that peeling had the stem at the convergence point of the three peelings. But the particular strain of banana died out a long time ago . . .   This post was edited by Salt and Red Pepper at January 16, 2017 12:57 PM MST

There are many paths to the top of any mountain..

    Some are easier than others..

I usually eat only one half of a banana at a time and leave the peel on the other half..

And which half is always a random decision..

(Hard to believe my answer could turn out to be so complicated.)
