  • Don't know anything about that, but I will  be mourning something on that day, no doubt. No special plans.

I won't be mourning, I have a doctor's appointment.  I'll be sitting in the waiting room.

January 20?  We have already re-lived it over and over these months since we got the hideous news that the devil is taking over the USA.

The actual day means nothing now.  The only day that matters is the day someone assassinates him or he gets impeached.

I wish the man no harm.  Even if he gets impeached at some point, remember we have Pence in waiting.  He is not a good man either.

I don't remember saying wish.  I am merely stating facts.  And, you are totally right.  Pence is even worse.  Someone needs to drop a bomb on the entire Oval.

He could resign. He has no idea of the magnitude of what he has taken on and he will be overwhelmed and drowning very soon. His appointees are dead weight and will further take him down faster. I don't know what country will test him first . We shall see. Thank you for your reply Sharonna. This post was edited by RosieG at January 19, 2017 2:58 AM MST

I intend to enjoy the day and not tune in to the big show tomorrow.

It is what it is.  Hopefully those of us that are appalled at this election result will remember to come out in droves the next election.  Local elections really matter and this has been a huge eye opener.

I kinda disagree with thee PeaPod. We ought not wait 4 years and protest with our votes. Among those who show up tomorrow at the inaugurations will be hundreds of thousands of protesters. And the protest movement keeps growing ever larger and will be evident throughout Donny's reign as dictator for however long he lasts. He will not have an easy time. He will be in over his head.  What is most worrisome to me immediately is which country will test him first? North Korea? Russia? China? Iran? They will poke at him to see how he responds. They're just waiting to pounce. He is so thin-skinned and vulnerable. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday to thee!  :)

Rosie, we may need to wait 4 years for the Presidential elections, but only 2 for elections for some of these other people that make decisions.  The more we elect people that will not bow down to Trump, the better.

I intend to enjoy the day myself, but I am all for peaceful protests that are promised for tomorrow.

    Happy Thursday my dear.

I'm going to sit around here with my fingers crossed and hope that Trump gets so busy on twitter that he forgets about showing up for his swearing in. Cheers!

What a loverly thought Nanoose.  Well I hope he resigns. Foreign countries are just waiting to pounce on him and test him. That could get very dangerous for us. He is so inept and emotionally vulnerable and thinskinned and erratic. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

Some of them are regretting bigly Zack. How else do you explain the doofus Donny poll numbers dropping from 40% to 37%? Buyer's remorse. You know what they say. Too soon old. Too late schmart.  Truer words were never spoken. Thank you for your reply! :)
