  • Yep! I'll win just fine. I've been retired and made good money when I sold my shop. I have my own medical plan and after selling my two WW2 planes/ I'm set for the rest of my life with plenty to leave my kids. Healthcare? We'll see but they'll never be able to mess much with Social Security. Many have tried and all have failed.

    Yeah, I'll plan on no entitlements and handouts and just HOPE that Wall Street is doing ok the day I'm forced to "retire" because I'm too old and sick to go to some dead end job (if THOSE will even exist anymore...).

    Eh. Not if the pension system no longer exists and you have to rely on Wall Street completely. Sorry, but the Greatest Generation and the Boomers made out real good. But good for you. Like you said, leave some for your kids, because they probably won't have much.
