Where do you shop for your computing needs?

  • Since my friend owns his own Tech business and Online Tech support and repairs, I always go to him for the best I can get at a great price. Since he says ASUS is the best out there? That's what I use. No more shopping for me! I just call PJ and he gets me whatever I might need. He's also the one that's  been building a website with me when I have time but it's on the back burner now. Always nice to have a friend in the business.

  • He's in California here by me and his business is just now getting off the ground and going but I will ask him if he's ready to do any interstate sales.

I don't have one place. I've used manufacturer sites, PC.com when they printed old school catalogs, and Micro Center olde brick and mortar stores for old people. Although, everyone should really just use the Apple.com or the Apple Store.

  • This guy parks his '79 Olds Cutlass outside where I work, and as long as I don't ask questions I can get sweet deals on anything I want.

I bought my last chromebook from Amazon because Canada doesn't have a good selection in the stores.  Bestbuy said they were getting the newer models of HP but its been a few months now and still nothing- the only brand they carry at the moment are Acer's (yuck)- i had no choice but to buy from Amazon US. (BestBuy stopped selling the last model of HP chromebooks a few months ago and i already own that model but i wanted a better one)- the one i ordered from Amazon last November is better and im happy with it (its a bit snappier and can handle more open tabs efficiently) This post was edited by Skunky Stinkerson at February 4, 2017 4:16 PM MST

  • There are plenty of stores to choose from in my area. I prefer not to buy on line -- I want to examine what I buy.
