Politics is almost unrecognizable from how it used to seem to be. A whole new ballgame in a whole new ballpark. In a whole new country?

It is not changing political methods that are forcing America to change.
It is a changing America that are making political means and ends change.

Or it could be that some third factor is causing both to change ;-))

We're watching the implosion that is inevitable when political parties become dominate.  They are just cannibalizing each other and themselves.
When the purpose and the resources that built a civilization run their course.  The civilization crumbles.
