What do you know about hacking?

Would you know how to go about hacking into another computer? Where do people learn to do such things?

  • I share your "nothing" but I'd be interested to know more. I don't have any desire to hack anybody's account but when I run into a mystery it kind of tugs at me until I sort it out. (This all started when I read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.) I'm just obsessive, I guess. :(

  • I'm a tinkerer that always wants to know how things work. Being a "hacker' as people say just means you know how the systems work. Most of what people think are hackers and people who consider themselves one are really just scriptkiddies.

    I saw a movie I don't remember the title but hackers have not only a devious mind but very sharp intelligence too.

  • Maybe. Sometimes it just takes an affinity for computing. I don't think that intelligence is a necessary component.

    Hi Veena.K~  There was a movie titled "Hackers," maybe that was it.  We saw it too.  I think Angelia Jolie was in it.  It was a pretty good movie and yes, they tend to be pretty smart.  Those Hackers that is.
