Have you ever had one of those emergencies when time seems to slow down?

What happened? What did you feel about the experience? What did you think about it?

    The one that comes to mind is when a 96 year old neighbor tripped and fell backward. I stepped forward and caught her in my arms. It must have only taken a second but it seemed like I had all the time in the world to reach her and save her from hitting the ground. I didn't think anything while it was happening and it was so seamless that it was like nothing happened. But I do know that a fall for someone that age could have been tragic.

    Yes, it is amazing. I've had a few of those experiences -- as everybody has -- usually in times of danger. They've always fascinated me.
