Has anyone ever left you after giving you an ultimatum and you chose Door Number Two?

  • You know? It's always been me doing the ultimatuning, me the one dictating terms, always the arbiter. I've just realised that I'm no better for it. Like some kind of void on legs with a heart and a head. I'm not proud and I don't take succour from it.

  • People really only give them when they feel they aren't being recognized or acknowledged.  Sometimes you have to put your foot down and make it clear that if someone wants "this" with "you" this has to happen.  Granted the odds they are going to follow it are low but what are you supposed to do?

  • I don't give ultimatums, I just go. If there's ever a reason for an ultimatum, clearly things aren't working....if given an ultimatum? Yeah I'm outta there....lived and learned the hard way!

    No, I don't do ultimatums. If someone gave me one, I'd do the opposite just to anger the person for giving me one. I've walked away from relationships because if I left first then I wouldn't be the one left. Silly, huh? I finally realized what I was doing and have tried to be better about such behavior.
