Do you think Oprah will run for US president in 2020?

I heard she is thinking about it. I would vote for her. I guess if Trump could be president, she would be so much better!

No, she seeks approval more than she seeks doing what's right, in my opinion. On her shows she often gifts the audience to keep them happy as if the substance of her topics is not enough. Reminds me of the typical way Liberals deal with the public and other nations. This post was edited by O-uknow at March 3, 2017 10:54 PM MST

  •  Possibly but I think if she got elected or ran it would be a disaster for much of the same reasons Trump is.  Just another cult of personality Presidency.
Let me be fair here,  I'm not a fan of her at all and almost never agree on what she says.   So take that as meaning what you will.  I rather not get into the whys considering who we are comparing her against on this subject.

She did do very well with herself and overcame a lot of things.  I can tip my hat to her for that.

  • I've never watched her show.. but she has to be better than what you currently have... surely? This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 3, 2017 10:54 PM MST

Just having lots of money doesn't mean you'll be a good President. Having knowledge and experience in politics make you a good President. Take that bit of info for what it's worth.

It also corrupts you. Too bad we can't get one without the other. Knowledge and experience without corruption. If only, *sigh*.

I hope not. Would her cabinet picks be any better than her proteges, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Suze Orman?

We have already seen that having no political experience is a disaster where a president is concerned.
If we are smart we won't do that again.

I kinda don't think she will largely because there will be an awful huge disaster to clean up for a person with negligible political experience.

Too bad though because people whose name begins with the letter 'O' have always become the best presidents.

Ok. I don't know much about U.S. presidents; I just thought Obama was a most likeable personality. This post was edited by Kittigate at March 3, 2017 10:54 PM MST

"I would vote for her," says the woman who was sure Hillary would win by a landslide.
