With a straight face Paul Ryan tries to sell the big lie about Trumpcare. "Repeal/replace." Not in your lifetime. Repeal/REDUCE/ELIMINATE. So folks good luck! Those of you who will be adversely affected if Trumpcare is enacted CONDOLENCES. Some of you will die without insurance.

Notice that he does not say: "eliminate medicare". Instead he is promising to do it better. He is not entirely blind to reality (and who his voters are).

Can he do it? I dont know. Trump may well have listened too much to Conservative rants about how ineffective and unworkable Obamas medicare is. If so he will be trying to fix a reality that isnt there. And that is a sure way to fail. This post was edited by JakobA the unAmerican. at March 14, 2017 4:05 AM MDT

Indeed. Thank you for your reply JakobA and Happy Tuesday! :) What he said during the campaign period was that he was going to protect Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid. That's what he said. So much for that! :(
