I  am a realistic thinker, I look at myself, others and the world in a balanced and fair way, considering the positive, the negative and the neutral before drawing conclusions in a common-sense approach.

I agree. I am wondering, is smart in this context same as intelligent? We have seen such discussions about street smart compared to academic intelligence. Intelligent is such loaded word in my opinion, and I know I am in some fields, but do not feel myself overall intelligent at all. I will be smart enough though to know when to engage in a discussion and when to leave it. At least most of times. :-)

  • Well, I spell pretty good. And I know lots of long words. If those are the criteria then I'm probably pretty smart. And, oh yeah, since the introduction of Velcro I manage to tie my shoe laces.

Because you understand the principles of Velcro, or... is it taught by repetition?
