"Ten weird signs that you are highly intelligent, according to science"
In the real world, spotting intelligent people isn’t quite as simple as looking for people who babble gibberish like Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock. But scientific studies have shown that there are a few traits which are linked to high intelligence – and some of these are rather surprising.

Each sign had it's own question prior to this one. How many of these signs did/do you meet/share?

#1 You learn from your mistakes
#2 You can argue intelligently
#3 You don’t think you’re intelligent
#4 You enjoy sick jokes
#5 You enjoy being alone
#6 You’re physically lazy
#7 You have used illegal drugs
#8 You don’t believe in God
#9 You don’t post ‘inspirational’ messages on Facebook
#10 You’re the first child in your family

If that's science, I don't believe it. Think I'll stick to religion.

    I'm brill, but I only got 5.

Lol. You're entitled to believe what you want. All ten weird signs have been found through researches though.

  • I can live with that. Gives me something else to strive for.

Right so. My take was nine out of ten, and not striving for the last one. But apparently, me having tried weed twice is enough to say I have used illegal drugs. Hmm. :-)

Top runner. I missed out on one. I won't say I used illegal drugs by smoking weed twice. :-)

  • I think that counts.   That one gets mentioned a lot.   I think it has to do more with the tendency to question and test than it is about a desire for continued usage or addictive tendencies.  Could be a from focusing on  the cerebral I suppose as well.

Oh. If that's the case it would become a ten. Hmm.

I got 6 out of 10.  Guess I float somewhere in the middle of high intelligence and blissful stupidity.

...btw.  I never met a middle child that wasn't highly intelligent.  ;)

Well, that is easier to understand than astrology, but I don't think it's as reliable.

Hmm. There's research behind each single of them. How they work in combinaction wasn't mentioned though. As for astrology, some believe in it, others not. Btw, haven't heard astrology being used to describe intelligence?

Four definitely do not apply to me.

And I'm 50-50 on sick jokes.

Out of curiosity, I found another list; I do not consider it particularly accurate either::  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4112330/From-swearing-staying-late-10-surprising-personality-traits-highly-intelligent-people.htm

Perhaps there is no list.  But talk to me for about 5 minutes, and whether or not I am will tend to become pretty clear.

I've seen that article too, also one mentioning 17 weird signs. Decided going for this one as yesterday's little break gimmick. I don't think people should panic too much without at least looking a bit more into the researches laying behind the ten signs. And, as mentioned other place their interaction with/ up against each other isn't really described in the article I found. :-)
