    Nah, It is the excuse to get away when they cannot face the risk of their 'manufactured' evidence getting fact checked.

    Trump never does produce any evidence! Whether that is because he doesn't know how to fake it or not is probably the real question. I think he reckons it is enough to just put the suggestion out there. His supporters think there is no smoke without fire, and don't even look for the evidence. A lot of the traditional politicians used to be lawyers. In a court of law, everything depends on evidence.
