Well maybe politicians could bite the bullet and take a 30% cut in salary. A lot of the defense budge is going to air craft carries which could be the biggest waste of defense dollars since Germany made Zeppelins to rule the skies. New weapon development made Zeppelins obsolete and new weapon development is starting to make air craft carries obsolete. During war games and war simulations they found that a small submarine with one bubble torpedo could easily sink a carrier. So to spend billions on something that could easily be destroy by a $500.000 bubble torpedo doesn't make sense to me. Maybe there wouldn't have to be cuts to other  services if they re thought the carrier budget. Cheers!

If the Republican Party approves any of this, some won't have jobs come 2018 and they will suffer a role reversal. This post was edited by Zack at March 16, 2017 12:24 PM MDT
