Why are the Irish considered lucky?

not sure why, maybe they just consider themselves lucky

It may be because they hold the world patent on four leaf clovers, and shamrocks, and leprechauns. Or it may be because they own the patent on Guinness which the English would dearly love to steal from them.

I'm Irish......lucky? Umm.....no.

It's just a superstition many have bought into.

I am one fourth Irish. I never consider myself as lucky.  Perhaps it is the other three fourths that is causing that
