    No but I find the vapours from all those toiletries & perfumes in the larger chemists astringent, particularly to the gums for some reason.

    I don't have those reactions, but the miasma of scents or some sort of vapour from all those perfumes and perfumed products in the large chemists' shops like Boots, hurt my gums, for some reason.
