Have Russians ALWAYS preferred Republicans over Dems or was the hatred of Hillary what caused the "win" of what we got?

I don't believe the Russians like any of our Presidents. Possible they dislike Hillary more because of already having dealt with Bill.

However, it has been determined by Congress that the Russians did not swing the election for President Trump.

The Trump administration and the Russians share an ideology not too far removed from the Alt-Right that is dedicated to returning their countries to perceived former glory. Hillary and the Dems were of a different ideology and she made statements in the past that the Russian elections were rigged. Methink that set the Russians out to prove she was no better.
