Overindulgence of beans, fruit, granola, nuts, sugar based products, plant based fats/oils, quinoa & other whole grains.  Avoiding animal products doesn't cure an eating disorder. This post was edited by Harry at March 28, 2017 11:21 PM MDT

  • Being vegetarian means they don't eat meat. That's it. It doesn't mean they don't eat fat.

vegetarians don't eat meat but it doesn't mean they don't overindulge in junkfood and unhealthy drinks etc.. or eats too much at dinner every night.

Could be many reasons as other responses have reflected..! Obesity comes not only from what you eat but how you live....! A sedentary lifestyle is always the culprit. I eat chicken only on Sundays rest of the week I eat vegetarian. Vegetarian food which is home made only. I am very conscious about how much salt and oil goes into cooking. Vegetarian or non-vegetarian can be fat or thin;))
