  • Why single out the Democrats? The whole world is askance at what he is likely to do next and whether it can be undone. Looking at Trumpism from inside the US it's very easy to think the only two camps are Republican and Democrat but even wiser heads among the GOP didn't want this buffoon in office.

  • I was reading The Prince on the train one morning and the guy sitting next to me launched into a tirade about how it should never have been written, and it should be banned, and I shouldn't read any more. I knew him slightly, a fellow commuter, and his normal conversation was about religion. I kept reading. 

    It wasn't my sort of book but I was curious to see what he'd written.

  • It's about 20 years since I read it. I wouldn't want to do a critique on it at this distance. There was nothing in it I hadn't expected.

    Yes. I think people are scared for some reason. Need to watch more than just MSNBC and read the entire article not just the outrageous headlines.
