What one question would serve as a good dating litmus test?

A singular question that would tell you everything you need to know about a person, so you'd know if it was worthwhile pursuing something with them...
(And none of that "people are complex and one question isn't enough" jazz. I want answers! Dang it.)

There isn't one for me.  Too many people today have done the dating sites or played the flirtation games on other social sites, and have a pretty good idea of the "best" response to give...just as many did long before the internet.  People can say something that sounds just perfect...that does not equate to squat.

If there's chemistry, it's a damn good start.  Without that, it's a no-go...and no answer, no matter how correct or eloquently stated, can make up for that deficiency. This post was edited by Bozette at March 30, 2017 9:42 PM MDT

Eh, there's more than that.  I like to read, he might not like the light...stolen blankets, etc.  When cuddling or snuggling works, it just works...the rest of the time...bumping uglies doesn't demand a snugglefest afterwards.  I like my space and I figure others do, too.  There is no law of the universe that mandates we have to sleep together in actuality after doing so figuratively.

Could be a soft one like what do you like about dating? Or, it could be the really confronting one, what do your exes say about you? Hmm. Sorta let the cat out of the bag thing, but find your own style. Yus.
