    You can eat anything you want, if you are not Catholic. You are excused from fasting and not eating meat on Wednesdays and Fridays if you are over 55 years of age or are on a special diet. Otherwise, only fish on Fridays.

  • Beaver, allligator, muskrat, frogs, and puffins are allowed by church decree along with fish.   I'm not making this up I swear to you.  There are a few other aquatic creatures allowed as well.
