  • Yes. At a dung heap called, "Subway".  Everyday was like having excrement smeared on my face.

  • Hah!  I was too when I was young.   I hated the damn place.   Cold Cut Trio set ups were the most disgusting things I ever seen pass food inspections.

  • Yes, I managed a couple of Body shops before I just bought my own and did mechanical work also. Either way? It was long hours and lot's of paperwork. Not so bad now with computers.

  • I'm technically a Lead. I do the same work as a manager, but get paid less.

  • Got to love those made up and arbitrary corporate positions created to screw the workers.

  • I was a "shift leader" at a bagel shop.  I don't recall what it entailed.

  • Under paid, yea, I guess I was to inspire and guide my coworkers to greater heights of bagel serving perfection,

I was a research project manager twice and hated it both times.  Maybe it was me but I would tell my technicians and field people to do simple things and sometimes they would flatly refuse.  I will never be in that kind of a position again if I can avoid it.

Yep. I've been everything from office grunt--which is not an actual title, but should be as it's sometimes the hardest position--to business owner.

No, but at work my higher managers keep asking me if I want to be promoted to a customer service manager (I guess they regret their last hire and I don't blame them especially when I have to show her how to do her job and help her manage time). I think I need more time before I take on that kind of responsibility though, I also need to gain some confidence..
