Might civilizations across the cosmos be separated by time and space benevolently for their own protection?

Like wouldn't Native Americans have appreciated the Atlantic Ocean 3X bigger.

    Well the planet earth isn't the cosmos... and yes no doubt things would have been different and arguably better if the native Americans, or American natives had remained in charge... I've a theory about some of the people we sent across.. and it might explain a lot of things...but it sure wasn't good for the natives :(

    Just a small correction... remember that immigrants and settlers to the US didn't *just* come via the Atlantic :P

    That is a possibility, Yes.

    Of course it is not a very likely possibility, seeing as how it requires some super-being (God) capable of formulating that purpose , and also capable of implementing it.

    That makes me wonder what America would be like right now if the Europeans never came along. Would it be considered a third world country or what? Native Americans are cool though, they'd probably have an awesome nation.
