  • Most of the time, no I do not...it's typically their problem, not mine...
    But then there have been a few times when they are hurting people badly and then I have gone to the wall.

    Yes, dear Virginia, I'm sure you are like me too gentle and too kind. I've been trampled upon because of my meekness then I decided to ignore the ignoble;)) Sometimes when my patience runs out I pounce like a harmed deer;))

    I know im only short Veena.....but in no way am I an easy walk over.....I would instruct them to tread carefully and insist they keep instep with my treads......

    That concerns me.  You were worth much more than that, and he had no right to treat you that way and to leave you with such a compromised defense system.

    Professional counseling would be a great use of your time and energy---assertiveness---not aggression---can be a great asset for you.

    I used to.  Then I had a boss who was a psychopath and would have ruined my career except that I raised the issue to superiors through the proper channels and was offered an early retirement with full, generous benefits.  The lawyer who helped me said I out maneuvered him.  That felt really good!
