    I have heard some Dem say they will vote to keep the gov from shutting down.

    It seems to me that every year the threat of a government shutdown is an automatic part of the landscape m2c. I'm happy to know that we may be protected from that this time. Thank you for your reply m'dear! :)

    When the GOP shut down the government the last time, it went over like a lead balloon.  If they pull that again, they could easily be looking at a Democratic majority come next year.
