Do beliefs of those who have power over you in many ways matter more than beliefs of your own?

Is it wise to know what they are?

    No they don't matter to me... yes they might affect me, for instance if the government believe something and put in place policies to change or make something happen that will affect me.. I am unlikely to believe their belief is better than mine tho.
