It's easy to be dismissive about people generically. You don't know them. They're statistics. But knowing specific people? You cannot dismiss them easily. Why don't we get to know one another?

Why don't we try? Why don't we care enough to make the effort to learn about people we have never met whom we KNOW we dislike without knowing THEM?  Why isn't THAT an important human goal?

    Great question, I wish I knew the answer. The world would be a better place if we did make the effort to get to know people.
