That's one of your best qualities Piper, you may not agree with all opinions, but you'll give hearing to them ;)

Did he get 15% of the primary vote? If not, he should not be debating. Simple as that.

How long has Syria been in the news Step? How long has Aleppo been front and center? It isn't some obscure bit of arcane information that only a  politics wonk would know. I knew. Did you know what Aleppo was? Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday.

"Everyone deserves to be represented ?   There were 10-12 Republicans debating at one time, How'd that work out ? You can't  include a stage full of fringe  groups and hope to have meaningful dialogue.

That makes sense Rpf. Johnson did say that he thought ALEPPO was an acronym for something and I can understand that because we have so many acronyms for so many things. Thank you for your thoughtful answer and Happy Friday! :)

  •  I'd rather hear him out than listen to the ranting of Trump and the fairy tales of Clinton.

I personally think everyone deserves to be represented. So yes... I do.

I think he does. I still prefer him to Trump, because when you ask Trump a question about something he knows nothing about, he just makes up a bunch of nonsensical crap and pretends he does know. At leas Johnson asked for clarification. I think he probably understands Syria better than Trump does, but just blanked on the name of the city.

If that be true, where's the harm in having there? He'll only make himself look silly, right?

If that is how you see things then it is no wonder that all candidate are given questions ahead of time and we never get to see them think on the spot.  I think he should be on the debate stage but the one condition should be that none of the candidate are given questions ahead of time and we can see how they do.

He gaffed and he admits it. At least he did not try to tap-dance. He came out and made it obvious he simply was not familiar with the particular city's name in the context of refugee issues. At least he was aware of the existence of the Free Syrian Army and its web of ties with various groups.
