Have you had a recent music discovery?

Relatively recently I discovered that lead singer of The Animals, Eric Burdon, also sang the lead vocalist part in War's "Spill the Wine."

Both songs are great to me! I've always liked both songs but never knew he sang both of them. :)

I saw Eric Burden live when I was 17 at the Kinetic Playground in Chicago in 1967.   I bumped into him literally when he was getting off the stage to go to the bathroom.

    I worshipped him.  That voice.

    Excellent!!
For me, I wouldn't mind bumping into him IN the bathroom. On purpose. Close up.

Oh god.  NO.  He is really ugly to me.  No thanks.  Just let him sing.   I'm being brutal but he had a fat face and pock marks.  Kind of good looking in a Richard Burton sort of way.

But Richard was handsome.   He was not even THIS good looking.  BAD SKIN.

    Hey, I love your honesty.
    :)

You saw him closer than I ever will. But, given a choice, I would prefer meeting him over Burton. (Didn't know if you were joking, because of the similarity of Burton's and Burdon's names.)

We have different taste in men.  You have a broader acceptance.  I think everyone has a beauty.  I do.  And I would never choose a mate based on looks.  EVER.  But this is my eye for just being objective.  I like your eye much better.  I do.

The men I thought were hot in the 60's  were just as ugly, trust me.

LOL  I mean really.  Were the Beatles cute?  Not hardly.  But they were hot nonetheless.  And look at the STONES. GODAWFUL.  But hot nonetheless. LOL  Those men were fugly.

I've always been drawn to George of The Beatles. Handsome to me. :)

And, thank you - - you are kinder in your assessment of my eye for guys (not just that Pearce Guy, ha) --  my friends say I have absolutely no criterion other than the guy is a guy. :)

If you don't get to them all, do NOT worry ever.  I was home sick with just the ability to do this and nothing else.  But I'm better now. I'll only post one here and there.

I hope you get this.  I just got a message from you.  When I went to answer it, I couldn't type a word and then the note disappeared.

    Here is my answer.
