Why do site admin falsely accuse people of being someone else?

This is an ongoing issue on another site (not this one) and I wondered if anyone here had any advice. I've tried contacting the site's admin but they wilfully and maliciously ignore me, almost as if they don't want to admit they've been wrong. This needs to be sorted soon because friends are involved in it.

Even with the explanation of the problem you’ve given above, I don’t think I’m familiar enough with the situation to give a helpful answer. Sorry. It appears you’ve done what anyone would do to seek resolution.

(By the way, it’s good to see you on  here again, it’s been a while. Welcome back!”

Why don't they just admit they are wrong, sort the whole mess out and apologise to all concerned? Why is it so impossible to do that?

    I do not know.
Facebook closed my husband's account saying it was fake. He only opened it to make a business page. He never posted anything on his personal page. They sent a message asking for gov ID etc.   Well FB is not getting any information like that involuntarily.

Why did they say it was fake?

Because he did not use Facebook for personal use.  Never posted anything or even uploaded a pict on the personal page...they claimed he did not exist.  Basically it amounted to there were not going to get personal information about him to sell so they were not going to allow him on the site.

They probably assumed it was a bot account.

Assume? Doesn't that mean to make an ASS of U and ME?

If it's an "ongoing issue" ... why subject yourself to the drama?
    Cut your losses.
Let your friends know via private message where else they can reach you.

Since when has Pisces been a "cut my losses" sign? I see my friends in real life but it is my duty to help them in times of trouble. We must not let the bad guys win under any circumstances. Was that what made Great Britain Great? Letting the bad guys win? Of course it wasn't. If it was, the world would be Nazi Germany now. I posted this question to hopefully get useful answers, not to be told to cut my losses. Cut my losses, indeed.

From your response, you enjoy the drama ... so stop complaining about it.

From your response YOU are the one who enjoys provoking drama by taking that attitude.

There are several ways site admin can identify people trying to re-enter in a different guise.
Some are geeky ways of tracing sources.
    Mostly it's via language.
Each individual has a particular way of writing and, even if they try to write differently,
will give themselves away via linguistic mannerisms that they're unaware of.

If they are making false accusations, then it's up to the one accused to prove who they are.

I couldn’t disguise myself online for love nor money. Either I’d agonize over grammatical errors that others make, find myself betrayed by the long trail of tildes falling from my pockets, or hoard all the sandwiches in sight, or horn-dog my way through the female clientele. Sigh, it’s not easy being me.

It's up to the accusers to prove it, not the accused. As for language, most people write in conventional English and call a turnip a turnip. I don't personally know anybody who would call it a tulip to hopefully disguise themselves as someone else.

People who accuse others of doing things usually do those things themselves but I don't know any easy ways to get back at them so I would just go to sitejabber or pissedconsumer and tell your side of the story.
