It's this one because it out-cheeses all of the other answers here, even My2Cents' Glory of Love and You're the Inspiration.

    Mmm, yummy!

I absolutely despise everything about Michael Bolton, and that includes his so-called “music”.

      NO!
Absolutely means absolutely!  And quit trying to force it on me!  I’m anti-Michael Bolton, and that will never change!  Grrrrrr.

(Friends dragged me along to a Michael Bolton concert. I agreed. I ended up still not liking his music, ha, just as I thought I probably would. I gave him a chance but I still didn't like his music after seeing him "live." However, Wynonna Judd was his opening act and I REALLY liked her! I was surprised; never had listened to her too much. So, the evening was fun for that - - and being with friends, of course.)

I love this song, written by Michael Bolton.  Laura Branigan sang it first and, to me, is better than Bolton's recording.

I like him OK, but Laura's recording of this song is the better in my opinion.  There are quite a few big big hits that were initially recorded by Branigan and I like her better than anyone else 100% of the time.  She was absolutely fabulous and she died way way too young.

No favorite by him for me.

Of those singers mentioned in the thread,
I don't like anything I've heard by Michael Bolton nor Rod Stewart. Neither have a voice I enjoy --  no matter what they're singing.

Peter Cetera, Richard Marx and Neil Diamond are good with me, and Laura Branigan, too.

    :)

Yeah, I like his voice.  (Hey, a neighbor once  told me that I looked just like him! I took it as a great compliment!)

Love Neil Diamond and the band Chicago, from where Peter Cetera hailed.

  • Remember this song in the Three Musketeers movie?  It was like the trifecta of solo male artist sappiness.

Just in case, Bob Harris -  - someone must have deleted my reply to you. It was the same one I posted to Jaimie up there. I purposely posted the same comment to both of you since it related to both of your posts. And I wanted to make sure you both saw it.

I'd post it again but, I see you already "liked" my comment I posted to Jaimie under her reply to you.
