    Roughly an hour. Was Social Security office, I think.  I know was something with the government. 
    I just put it on speaker and wait.

    Up to two hours or more....but then I tell my partner to let go for a while while I make a different call of nature to the John....  :(

  • I've left the on hold music playing on speaker for at least an hour while waiting to talk to someone in my state's department of taxation.  They notoriously take forever.  And then when I go do my annual training seminars and a speaker from the department takes the dais I'll get to listen about how much improved their call times are getting.  F&$% them.
