Wouldn’t it be great if human skin suffered ZERO ill effects from exposure to the sun?

I’m basking in it right now, and it feels SOOOOOO good,  but I have to take precautions and I cannot stay too long. Grrrrrrr.

Companion question:

When you’re outdoors and reading for leisure, does it make you sleepy? I can barely finish a whole page before dozing off.

I, too, spent some time basking in the sun today. It felt wonderful, but I only stayed long enough to get my vitamin D.

It's always interesting when things we need are harmful to us.  Sunlight and oxygen are the most discussed.

Lol, you’re right. Two of the things we need in order to exist, and they’ll both kill us if we get too much of them.

Oxygen is poisonous, but it takes 70 or more years to get a lethal dose.

I'm more worried about Dihydrogen monoxide. It's found in everything from baby food to industrial solvents, and inhaling as little as 4oz is invariably fatal. School drinking fountains have been shown to emit high concentrations of it, it's found in the brains of 100% of violent criminals ...

In its solid form it can also be dangerous. I heard a ship sank from it.

A ship sank from it? Wow.
Your knowledge (and from others around me) -- sometimes when I least expect it, I learn something new. And sometimes, especially in mornings, I then feel not-so-smart. :) I fear even having to change a car tire. :)
But, in case you ever need your humidifier in your flooded basement unplugged, you know whom you can call.

It's recommended that the solid form be diluted with ethane hydroxide.
