A notable reduction in air pollution; what other benefits could be had as a result of current pandemic?

The pandemic is tragic of course but there always may be some sort of 'silver lining in the cloud'.

Decrease in the number alcohol-related traffic fatalities (and traffic fatalities in general).

Decrease in the number of animals killed by vehicles.

People may start being more respectful of others' personal space.

People who typically don't wash their hands (GROSS) start washing their hands.

Workaholic parents spending more time with their children.

People may think twice about putting their ailing/aging parents in nursing homes.

People have begun cooking more and eating out less (bad news for the restaurant industry, but good news for people's overall health).

Very good. Be nice to see people spending their money more wislier and put the junk food industry out of business.

Given than Trumpicans generally regard their "freedom" as being more important than public safety (so they don't wear masks or practise social distancing), come November there will be fewer of them.

Well it should balance out after all those riots.

Perhaps, that is why Cuomo forced the nursing homes to take all those covid residents.  Getting rid of those old people....who might vote for Trump and get them off NY Medicaid bill....a two for one.

    • People washing their hands more frequently... or at all
    • People actually covering their faces and mouths whenever they cough or sneeze
    • Giving people their space and avoiding spaces and situations that are conducive of standing/sitting shoulder to
shoulder/cheek to cheek with your neighbor(s) as much as possible
    • People actually appreciating those deemed essential and the jobs they do to keep our environment clean, nurtured
       and natured
