What is your favorite kind of doughnut?

Mine has always been a maple bar. There are so many out there though. Maybe your favorite is one I haven't really thought of.

    The regular glazed Krispy Kreme is my favorite.  It has been years since I've had a donut.  I decided to break down and buy myself one at a Dunkin Donut place five years ago.  I went through the drive-through and the girl said We're out of donuts; may I get you something else.  I felt like I was in the twilight zone.  How can a donut shop be out of donuts?  Well, I heard later that DD was going to stop selling donuts, period.  Gosh!  So I still haven't had a donut.  This post was edited by Thriftymaid at August 3, 2020 9:52 AM MDT

    I think you could still have them with good moderation. Though I know that it's best not to in your case.

    I have found that the best way to manage it is to limit carb intake - bread, cake, cereal,p  etc., including donuts - even moreso than some other sweet things such as fruit.

    Krispy Kreme glazed, but I haven't had one in a really long time - or any other donut for that matter.  I'm trying to manage my sugar level with diet.
