Is the mind the home of the brain or are they the same?

    Other way round - the mind is a set of functions of the physical organ that is the brain.

    Oh? Okey dokey Durdle. Thank you for the info. A bug is an insect but an insect isn't a bug? Or is it the other way around? I dunno. :)

    They don't compare like that.

    The "mind" is a somewhat nebulous concept but is created and driven by processes within the brain - an organ that controls and monitors all the senses and functions as well as intellect, memory and emotion.

    So the brain is not mind, the  mind is not the brain, the brain is home to the mind.

    "Bug" = "Insect", either way round. "Bug" is just your country's slang word for the animal! :-)
