A recent poll found that 38% of respondents, both Democrat and Republican, believe Joe Biden has cognitive issues...

...and 59% don't think he is capable of finishing a four-year term. Do you honestly think he can win in November, or are folks so blinded by Trump hatred that there's a lot of denial and wishful thinking going on?

    Does be actually have much more cognitive issue for a guy his age should have?

    Why? I haven't asked them, but it's not about people his age. Most of them aren't running for president. All it takes is perception to make people decide to vote one way or the other. That can come from things like body language, ie non-verbal cues.

    Trump is of similar age. If you believe he has cognitive issues, why is that so hard to believe about Biden? Or are you not objective?

    It's so bizarre that of all the possible candidates, the Dems chose Biden, despite his clear decline. Almost makes me think that there's collusion at an incredibly high and secret level, and I'm not a conspiracy theorist!

  • I think Joe has cognitive problems. He'll be 78 in November and some of his difficulty is a natural progression of aging and its debilitating effects. I think Joe has actually had some problems since he was diagnosed years ago with a brain tumor, which he was successfully treated for.                            Here are the outcomes I think we face this November:       Trump wins outright   or                                                                                                                                                                                       Biden wins outright or                                                                                                                                                                                     Voting by mail makes such a total mess of the ballots that we never know who won. In that scenario, Pelosi becomes President.  OR Biden wins, is inaugurated as president and steps down early next year in favor of Harris. Or Biden wins, remains in office as a figurehead warming the seat, and governs at the direction of a committee which may consist of Cabinet officers or others. We'll see.

    They both do, and Pence is a flagrant misogynist. The best thing Joe can do for America is to kick His Royal Orangeness's butt in the election, then keel over immediately after inauguration. Senator Harris would make a better POTUS than any of them.
