In this life, we have a choice to make. We can take up the propagation of the gospel (the Great Commission) as Christ instructed before he ascended to Heaven. This can be done in love as this is the day of Grace and Mercy as found in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Soon, we'll reach the end of the church age and the aforementioned Grace and Mercy will no longer be available. The alternative is to make an attempt to sit in the judgement seat (occupied by God the Father) and dispense condemnation and judgement in which we have no authority. In short, we cannot cease spreading the Gospel simply because the Devil has made a mess of things and needs someone to blame. It's been that way since Rome burned during Nero's reign and the Christians had to take the blame. So it has been and so it will continue to be. In all honesty, the modern church has many internal problems that need to be addressed before Christ's return. However, you seem to overlook the fact that Christians have as much right to participate in politics as the enemies of democracy have. If they can use the system to turn us out, then we can use the same rights and liberties to defeat them and turn them back. We won't quit, nor will we disappear so get used to it.
