Does it take genius to understand how philosoohical men can go "mad" and not mad angry?

"They're searching for very possibly unanswerable answers, so either conform to a set philosophy, living a lie, or go mad with eclecticism and neti neti"
Now I know I am not a genius because I really don't know what eclectism or neti neti is "after all my time" and I am being a conformist to look it up!
