Do you ever take a warm bath, because you feel cold?

I do, and it’s getting colder out here in WA state now that summer has left us. But to actually wash and get clean I would do a shower.

I have to wonder if others do the same, solely just to relax because it’s cold for them, especially at night, with the season now.

Not for a while. I used to read in the tub all the time, though. Keep adding more hot water. It was a nice escape.

You don't get cold where I live now.  But I've been here six years and until here, I've always lived with very cold winters.  The only time I remember getting into the tub to get warm is after us being lost in a state park and being rescued by the rangers and Sierra Club at about midnight.  It was freezing and raining and I was 7 months pregnant.  If we hadn't talked to a ranger when we started down the six mile trail, they wouldn't have even looked for us.  He questioned our wisdom but we assured him we were seasoned hikers.  I'm laughing out loud now!!!   He checked at the end of shift and found both of cars still there so he knew we were in trouble and maybe having a baby.  This life!!!!

I was so frozen I hurt.  We lived in an old house with a huge tub.  We both got into the tub with hot cocoa and thawed out.

Sounds like a novel to me, at least a short story or a screenplay for an episode to a series. Get to writing!

I've been trying to write but my spurts of writing energy have been few and far between.

I would have to be pretty chilled to the bone before I would jump into a tub of hot water to warm up. Thing I dread is getting out of the warmth of the water and getting all chilled before I get dried off.

Haven't had a tub bath in years, it's a chore getting out.
One of the worst things about getting older is that my body cracks like a glow stick whenever I move, but obstinately refuses to actually glow.

That errant comma bugs the beeheegees out of me; my obsessive-compulsive grammar disorder won’t let me get past it or ignore it! It’s the same clause, no comma needed.  Uggggghhhh.

I don't have a tub in this house, only a shower, really do miss taking a bath. I am hopeful the next place I live in has a walk-in bathtub with a place to sit.

That reminds me of that David Frost quip: Did you hear about the masochist who wanted to take a cold shower - so he took a hot one.
