The entire family of my ex-wife. She and they were quite successful at it I'm afraid.

Wait, you’re sorry to hear that they’ve been unsuccessful?

No, whether they were successful or unsuccessful, I'm sorry to hear of Zack going through what sounds like some rough times.

I'm glad to admit I can only imagine he wound, yeah.

Wait!! A sort-of-similar similar thing has happened to me! Fortunately for me. it wasn't a Significant Other.

I have other friends who mess with and kid me -- and sometimes, they then freeze, look me in the eye, and say, "Yes, I'm just kidding with you."

    :)
    Ha!

Not in that way. He didn't plot to permanently get rid of me - he just permanently left me and rid himself from me.

(I don't know why he's been on my mind lately. He's a great guy. I'm sorry it didn't work out.)

    I give up again.

I'll be back some time when I can read questions.

Sorry for my outburst here earlier. Mornings can be challenging for me. And I can allow my not catching details irritating. I'm okay. I'll be back. Have to work now.
    Thanks. :)

What “outburst”?  I have personally witnessed outbursts, my friend, and take it from me, that was no outburst.

(In other words, you’re already forgiven, even though you didn’t do anything wrong.)

    Thank you, bud.
    I really appreciate it.

That first comment I wrote, " I give up again"  - I got angry with myself when I saw you had asked "how many." It was an inner outburst for me.

Thanks, again. (Yeah, I know - I sometimes  get pretty hard on myself.)

I believe my sister probably did; she said as much to my mother's solicitor, who promptly rang to let me know.

This was all ages ago, around the time when Mum first went into a nursing home, and before I became her guardian and brought her to live with us.

At the time, my sister saw me as an obstacle to her inheriting the whole of Mum's estate.

I took precautions to make sure my sister could never get at me.

If you ever seen Shakespeare's King Lear, our family's saga was a modern version of the same.

    Yeah. :/
    Dysfunctional families are no picnic.

Fortunately all that is long over. :)

Your answer reminded me of a joke I posted as a question. Here is link to the question but I'll share the joke, too.

    :)

A German Shepherd, Doberman and a cat have died.

All three are faced with God who wants to know what they believe in.

The German shepherd says: "I believe in discipline training and loyalty to my master."

"Good," says God. "Then sit down on my right side. Doberman, what do you believe in?"

The Doberman answers: "I believe in the love, care and protection of my master."

Ah," said God. "You may sit to my left."

Then he looks at the cat and asks, "And what do you believe in?"

The cat answers: "I believe you're sitting in my seat."

Keep this up at the same rate and by next week you’ll have a baseball team after you.
