Quantum superposition of time explains how Schrodinger's cat can be dead and alive at the same time.

When they come onto me instead of the other way around.  I get that a lot.

Some guys who were magnetically attractive when young never lose it.
I think maybe the long years of success imprint something on their psyches and it just exhales all around them.
It's not the same as arrogance. It's subtle and laid back. They seem not even to realise it.
Yes, it is a kind of magic - to be able to stir and arouse by doing absolutely nothing...

Thanks for an interesting question - for myself, I'll need to think about it some more. Maybe if the post stays alive for a bit we may get some really interesting, and unexpected, responses.

I guess that doesn't say much for Nanoose, Element 99, Kittigate, Randy D and me.

My sensitivity to other muggers sensibilities is at a low ebb right now Welby. This kind of withdrawal happens every year about this time when I ponder how the religionists from came out of nowhere with their flaky new religion, highjacked our festivals, and our spiritual sites too, in order to quash the old and promote the no more valid, new religion.   This post was edited by rattbagge at December 17, 2020 6:33 PM MST

No worries, rattbagge! Do know I was only joking and my comment was meant in pure fun.

And my head can go in different directions for a variety of reasons, too.

And -- I, too, admire James Newton Howard's music.   :)

If you know goats well, is there anything about them that has magic for you?

At first glance, that they go with confidence where few creatures of their size and morphology dare go.

    Indeed! :)
The film footage of them leaping at breakneck speed across near sheer vertical cliffs to escape a snow leopard and winning looks miraculous. Even the very young kids seem to manage it.

I once had three pet goats - so playful and loving that I just adored them. Unfortunately, they also required fences everywhere to protect the veggie garden and stop them eating eucalyptus bark. They lived out their natural lives and we didn't replace them. But I still miss Magpie, Sparrow and Rufus.

Ha ha! :) I would agree on that.

I trust the judges. I've noticed how even the most conservative ones agreed that Trump's lawyers have not provided evidence to justify a case.
The right-wing conspiracy theorists might come up with the idea that the judges were bought - but how could anyone buy that many judges? And if it were the case, the money trail would be traceable. It would be impossible to bribe so many at every level without at least one mistake.
The degree of bad grace shown by so many on the far right seems to confirm what we have been witnessing throughout Trump's reign - an unwillingness by a certain type of person (Trump included) to see reality as it is. They live in wilful denial regardless of the obvious costs.

I bow to Paul Mitchell, the Michigan congressman, for resigning because of the majority Republican support for Trump's refusal to acknowledge the rulings of the Supreme Court. He, alone among the Reps, has shown the ethics and integrity of a Sir Thomas Moore. I hope that if he stands as an independent in future, his followers will continue to support him. He is democratic in the truest sense of the word.
