Randy gotta either do tildes or spelling & punctuation; looks like he can't handle both in his old age.

Anyone can eat anything they want.  But if they did they would not be a "vegetarian" in my book.  "Vegans" we never had until more recently so I have no understanding of that.

How recently is “recently”? I believe I first heard about vegans way back in the eighties.

Yes? Perhaps I did not move in as charmed a circle.  In the 80s I was working on being a vegetarian. Which I knew something about having been with men who were into that.  But I never developed the discipline until later. I have had that "vegan" stuff explained to me but seemed a pretty weird thing I didn't get so don't use that word. Even their pronunciation seemed weird.  After all you have vegetables and not "veegatables".  So I just leave them to it.

I’ve never truly understood exactly what defines or delineates vegan from vegetarian or vice versa, but I’ve never truly cared to understand either.

Anyone CAN eat anything. The real question is whether vegetarians and vegans WILL eat such foods.
